What minerals are used in the cartridge?

How do I balance hard water?

Water naturally contains minerals like iron, copper, or magnesium, which should be treated with a Metal Out or Sequestering Agent (ask your dealer). If you’re using Frog Ease replacement cartridges, remove excess minerals only at startup and wait 24 hours before cleaning the filter and adding your FROG system to ensure proper balance.
